Right past Giovanni's is this shrimp truck with a whole bunch of other food trucks/stands which I think this place is farrrrr more superior. I've tried all of the shrimp trucks and this has been my go to on the north shore since I was a little kid. They douse their shrimp in that liquid gold and they're not shy about their garlic either. Plenty of seating and the wait is not long and they have restrooms too. Definitely give this place a try and avoid the tourist trap.

The spicy shrimp was mid, husband says it wasn't spicy and he prefers Giovanni's. I however LOVED the coconut shrimp . I've been wanting coconut shrimp and that other shrimp truck doesn't have it. I was very satisfied!

Short Ribs on the North Shore look no further !!!! These are the bomb ONG sooo flavorful sooo good with a side of tasty Japchae noodles. This is food truck but there is plenty of outside seating as there are several food trucks in the surrounding area so the space is all open.

Ono!! After hang'in loose at turtle bay we drove over to a chill food truck stop. Not only was ordering fast we also didn't have to wait long to get our food (12ish no wait for order). People started to trickle in around 12:30-1pm and that's when the lines got longer. The shrimp was seasoned to perfection and the rice and red sauce were umami. Food ordered: -we asked if we could do a combo of garlic shrimp and tempura shrimp. The answer was YES :) 1.) garlic shrimp- wow the garlic sauce was delicious. The shrimp had its shell on it which I did not mind, but my husband preferred the shrimp to be unshelled. 2.) tempura shrimp- breaded correctly and seasoned well. It's tempura and it's delicious. Other: -cash and card taken -plenty of seating in the shade- ohana style (share the bench tables) -no bathrooms, but you may want to check the other food area across the way - it's best to have one person wait in one line for another food truck and the other for another food truck (divide and conquer) I definitely recommend eating here!

Conveniently located in the old kahuku mill shopping area with bathrooms, parking and outdoor covered seating. Served on a bed of cabbage and garlic sauce all over the rice. They now accept credit card. Dont forget to ask for mac salad. Thin strips of steak or shrimp fairly easy to peel Perfect meal while you go around north side

Hella delicious. Solid meal with the garlic butta making errthing about this platter delicious. I ordered half-garlic shrimp and half-coconut shrimp (while my fam ordered at Giovanni's, lol). My order wins. Shoutout to the brotha on the truck who gave me shakas in my pic!!! Wish I saw it in the moment, but the joy I felt+feel from finally noticing the good vibes!! Such a personally fave pic for sure. Good vibes to y'all, Famous Kahuku Shrimp!!

It's always worth that ride to the North Shore for some great shrimp! The service is friendly and laid back. There could be a long line, but they're organized and quick. You can pay with either cash, card or tap-to-pay. Although the shaded, outdoor seating (picnic tables) area is shared with the other food vendors, there's more than enough to be comfortable. There's also a ton of parking, so you might opt to relax in your car (and A/C) to enjoy your food. Enjoy!

Personally I like this place more than Giovanni's !! It is extremely flavorful /buttery & packed with garlic but the taste is better imo. It is slightly sweet but pairs really well with the garlic rice and or mac. They also give you a lot of shrimp so it's a great deal! The location is in an area with a lot of other food trucks and can be found near the smoothie/ taco. But keep in mind the ambiance does have a bit of a manure smell often times due to there being some chickens around.

I'm not a Giovanni shrimp fan! This shrimp spot has been THE ONE for me for many years! The shrimp with garlic butter sauce is soooooooo good! The steak is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's a bit on the chewy side so most times I just get the shrimp! The husbands go to is the hot squid. It's just his perfect selection on heat! Hella spicy lol. I'm weak sauce so I take a piece of the squid and dip it into the garlic butter sauce that's in my plate This locations service is very welcoming. Food comes out quick! When I'm coming around the island to eat, I'm already hangry They have lots of picnic tables that you can enjoy your meals at! The price of these plates they offer are pretty decent.
